Beautiful oil, long lasting aroma, very happy

I usually have this oil in my box because I can use it in so many ways. Inhalation, face products, bath and shower and body lotions, diffusions etc. I really love it.

This Rose oil is so special. I am so appreciative that Neal’s Yard manage to continue it within their range of essential oils. Helps me sleep and relieve sad feelings.

The key note that makes all others work. Up there with Jasmine absolute and Ylang Ylang essental oil, but better! However, using same bottles as for non absolute oils makes it an absolute pain to get the drops out, either having to wait forever for gravity to work on a thicker concentrate, or tapping/shaking, leading to waste. Great organic product at almost deserved premium pricing but needs a serious re-design of dropper to reflect this and avoid the above though.

Mixes well with other oils too.

My all time favourite oil. Smells so beautiful and I have so many memories connected to the scent.

The frgrance was not as expected. It was lack lustre and dull. I am very senditive to smells and I had to really strain toeven smell rose. It also left an orange tinge. I used it in the bath and in a carrier oil. I wont be buying it again.

So I wear this absolute as my perfume. I added it to my body care. I wore it to work and everyone was wondering what that fabulous aroma was. I said it’s my fragrance from Neals Yard. They couldn’t believe it. I said I have been looking at it for a while and eventually decided to pay £28 for it. It’s worth every penny. I wore it before when I was in a different building but got no comment so I was wondering if anyone else could smell it but they can. It’s smell amazing. You don’t need much, thank goodness because I want it to last a long time.

Absolutely stunning oil! Love the dreamy aroma blended into a massage base oil alongside geranium and lavender or with water in an oil burner with patchouli and geranium.

I love this rose absolute oil. The scent is rich, natural and very calming — not artificial or overpowering at all. A tiny amount goes a long way and feels like a real treat to use. The quality is exactly what I’d expect from Neal’s Yard and it feels very luxurious. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

Great product, although I hadn’t realised there would be such a small amount in the bottle !

I completely recommend this extraction.
It is a small amount and to use it is a matter of a meditative process! It is very thick and therefore you need to be prepared to let it just make its own sweet way out of the bottle. This is my second purchase, my first 2.5ml lasted me for 6 months (and I am an addict tot his stuff so use it regularly!) You only need one drop in a room diffuser for a beautiful gentle rose garden fragrance, one drop in a 'create your own' base oil or ointment. Women's balance also has Rose Absolut and is a good blend for a room diffuser if you need something quicker to apply to the water. Neal's Yard Rose Absolut oil is special: a draught of sweet, sensorial uplifting rose.

I love using this in my massage therapy work, it’s high quality and potent so just a hint needed and to resonate with clients.

The rose oil was so thick I couldn't drip it from the bottle. I feel I have wasted my money. It was very disappointing

I bought this rose to make rose water spray using distilled water. The effect of the moisture of rose water on the face is relaxing and soothing.

It took 30 mins with a stanley knife to open this essence bottle. This was very dangerous . I am an artist I am very good with my hands.

This essential oil is the best Iv used. The fragrance is just beautiful and vibrant. It reminds me of just how it feels to burrow your nose into a rose in full bloom. It’s everything a rose oil should be, fresh, uplifting and delightful. I will definitely be buying it again next time.

A beautiful rose fragrance that can be quite heady. I often use in a diffuser and add to jojoba oil. The best of both worlds.

It is entirely my own fault that I didn't realise this was just 2.5ml but if I had I wouldn't have bought it. It is just not worth it for the price in my opinion. I like to mix and use in a diffuser and this just wont last long at all. I am also not overly keen on the smell I feel it smells quite synthetic although I know that it isn't. I also realise that it is extracted from a very expensive source and that is where the cost originates but for me it isn't worth the money for such a small amount or for the scent it produces. I appreciate the love that has gone into production of this product and if happy to use in very small amounts then it may be worth the spend and this is why I have scored 3. I realise my review is very personal and based on the way I want to use my oils meaning I run out quite quickly anyway. So I have tried to score this fairly taking everything into consideration but mainly I have scored on value for money and scent.
