Good, rich moisturiser
I like this moisturiser, as I prefer richer moisturisers, but this is not heavy. My skin is problematic, even still at my mature middle age now, & frankly the only thing that will probably stop my breakouts is cutting sugar out of my diet entirely and eating like a rabbit. This isn’t going to happen. So, the moisturiser is soothing, comforting & moisturises very well & my skin isn’t reacting badly to it. A very lovely pot of nourishing comfort for my skin.Â

The worst cream for combination skin, smells awful, a waste of money, I'll just have to chuck it now as can't see myself using it ever again...Response from NYR on 19.08.20 'We understand you’ve already been in touch with our Customer Care team. Report this reviewnot for acne prone skin
I've been obsessed with a lot of the products from neals yard for a year now and love the products. I purchased this item as we entered lock down unfortunately it made my skin worse and clogged my pores I stopped using when I read the ingredients. I've given 2 stars because as far as moisturising goes it gave good hydration but unfortunately not for acne prone skin...Response from NYR on 25.06.2020 'We are sorry for any disappointment caused on this occasion. We would love to be able to help you find a more suitable alternative, so please contact our Customer Care team on 01747 834634 or e-mail advice@nealsayrdremedies.com if you would like some product advice or to discuss your experience further. Thank you.'
Report this reviewnot for combination skin
It has a strong scent, doesn't sink in the skin and I got a rash/ dry skin - the worst I've ever been in! I used frankincense, almond, avocado oil range before and worked beautifully so will be switching back to them. This was the only range for combination skin- and ironic that the only range designed for gave me problem skin and all others for senstive, dry or oily skin work well...Response from NYR on 03.06.20 'We understand you’ve already been in touch with us. Report this reviewGood moisturiser but not natural enough
I have been using this mosturisuer for 2 years now. I love the smell and it does a great job at balancing my skin (I have mixed oily/dry skin) but I have decided to try another mosturiser from Neal's Yard as I have noticed there is Phenoxyethanol in it. I would probably come back to it if this was gone from the list of ingredients.
Report this reviewBeautiful product
This is the first ever moisturiser I have ever used in my life (was gifted my first jar when I was 18/19 and am now 20 and just started my second jar-it lasts a very long time!) after using just facial, wipes and I have to say it is brilliant. My experience with it being my first moisturiser has been fantastic and I am so so happy with how my skin looks and feels. I have very oily and occasionally spotty skin and this has reallyhelped with my oily forehead and, paired with good old tea tree oil, has helped with my spots as well. I also personally really like the smell, it reminds me of the outdoors!
Report this reviewBrilliant
I switched to this from another organic brand that was perpetually breaking me out. It worked a treat, soothing and healing my skin until the breakouts tapered to nothing. It smells like pesto, but i don't mind. Its herby and nice. It is also NOT drying and moisturises my dry skin perfectly. I will use this mainly in summer. Excellent stuff.
Report this reviewMade me breakout
I was struggling to choose between this and the palmarosa moisturiser. Wish I had gotten the palmarosa!!! I used to have completely clear skin and over the last year I’ve been having breakouts. I stopped all moisturisers which calmed the breakouts but felt I needed a new moisturiser as I was getting fine lines. I was told this would calm breakouts and moisturise but I think it’s too heavy a product! It was very nourishing and helped under my eyes but I broke out almost instantly, with big cystic spots. Very thick and a strong odour. Didn’t see it do anything for my pores. Lady at the store, however, was incredibly lovely...Response from NYR on 02.04.20 'Thank you for your feedback and we're really sorry to hear that our Yarrow & Comfrey isn’t suitable for you. Report this reviewA favourite
This is my third jar and it's one of my favourites, I have combination skin and do get hormonal spots, this cream really seems to clear up my skin. It's mattifying yet still moisturising, and I love the smell, some people don't, I think you either love it or hate it. It smells quite herby and much nicer once it's on your skin than in the pot, I look forward to putting on my face in the mornings!
Report this reviewBest face cream I’ve used
Been using this moisturiser for a few weeks now morning and night after washing my face, it’s made such a difference to my skin that I had to write a review! I’ve always suffered from oily skin and hormonal acne, tried a lot of different products over the years but nothing has ever improved my skin like this has. I actually quite like the smell of it too, makes you feel like you’re putting something good on your face rather than chemicals and perfumes.
