Amazing- love it!

I love this cream! I have dry skin and suffer with eczema too and this is the only skin that works! It makes my skin feel so soft, love the way it goes on and it makes my skin look brilliant, much smoother and glowing. Plus it does not sting or irritate, it’s just brilliant. I think it smells lovely too. Your white tea face mask is also a god send! Thank you.

Disappointed

I am so disappointed with this cream. Having used this before and believing it to be one of the most beautifully fragranced creams, I was so excited to receive it from Ocado. However, the frankincense cannot be detected at all - that was part of the charm and appeal of this cream. I was also disappointed to see the grading was low for non-toxicity when I types it into the app THINK DIRTY. What a let down.

Chemical or petroleum smell? Is it a bad batch??

I had been using the Almond Sensitive cream which I loved but thought I might need something thicker for my now ageing skin and I was really disappointed when I bought this cream. The smell does not smell natural, smells like petrol or something? Can't really figure out what it smells like. Its not lovely like my Almond cream. The cream itself is moisturising and thicker which I wanted so I won't give this cream 1 star because of that but it does make me break out a little bit so it might be clogging my pores a bit. Still the smell, its awful, not sure if its a bad batch or if its supposed to smell like chemicals like it does.... I regret buying this over the Almond cream I just wanted something that would help my skin age better as I'm turning 40!...Response from NYR on 19.08.20 'Thank you for your feedback and sorry for your disappointment. Please could you get in contact with our Customer care team on 01747 834634 who will discuss this with you and offer you more suitable options for your skin, if you would like. Many thanks.' '

Love this !

My new favourite moisturiser. I love the way this makes my skin look and feel - soft , velvety and glowy. I use it morning and night, really enjoying how it feels and smells as it sinks in. This is the best moisturiser I've tried in all my 41 years. I've not been using it long and was going through a phase of trying different expensivish creams when I discovered this. I particularly love how it improves my skin and unlike other moisturisers for dryer skin, it doesn't make it shiny in the least. It's not going to get rid of wrinkles but it makes my skin look so good it doesn't matter. Please don't change this or stop making it!

Really good cream

Wonderful cream for those looking to pamper their skin. I have been using it for a couple of months now and it works really well with my normal to dry skin: it looks and feels well nourished and my complexion is now great. Highly recommended, especially for giving your skin a little bit of extra care in those winter months.

Great product... 1 star for filling box with plastic styrene!!

I expect better than to open the box and have plastic styrene spilling everywhere... totally unnecessary waste and such a burden on the environment! Keep your eyes out in the sea for it, it could easily come from Neals. Shame on you!!! How about cardboard to protect it?...Response from NYR on 04.02.20 'Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Please be assured that our packing chips are not made of polystyrene. We use biodegradable packing chips to protect the products. They are manufactured from starch and will quickly break down into carbon dioxide and water. They can be put in with garden compost, food recycling or general waste. We take considerable care with our choice of packaging materials and there is more information on our website: https://www.nealsyardremedies.com/plastic-free-oceans.html'

missing the original formula

the original formula adopted as 10 years ago was fantastic and caused me to be a fan of Neal's Yard Remedies. the changed formula doesn't show the same result from what caused by the original one and the smell is also disgusting. I can't find any more reasons to keep using it...Response from NYR on 10.12.19 'Thank you for your feedback and we're really sorry to hear of your disappointment with our Frankincense Nourishing Cream. We can assure you there has not been a change to the formulation and the change you are experiencing could simply be the result of batch variation. We would be very happy to discuss this with you further, so please feel free to contact our Customer Care team at advice@nealsyardremedies.com'

VERY DISAPPOINTED

I’ve been confidently using the Frankincese products in the last few months, and was reassured knowing that they were organic and did not contain any harsh chemicals (I have read the list of ingredients before I purchased my first Frankincese Hydrating Cream). However, I have recently purchased the Frankincense Nourishing Cream (without reading the ingredients this time as trusted in the brand) and I was so disappointed to find that it did contain petrochemicals! So, the Nourishing Cream contains Phenoxyethanol!! which is known to be very harmful, and Polysorbate 60 that have been correlated with reduction in fertility and anaphylactoid reactions. I find this very upsetting and misleading, and the products not even cheap... so, I’m now looking for another cosmetic brand that really doesn’t use these harsh chemicals because I lost faith in the Neal’s Yards Products. I hope this is helpful for other health-conscious customers...Response from NYR on 11.12.19 'We’re sorry to hear of your concerns surrounding some of our ingredients. We do strive to formulate our products as naturally as possible and use essential oils, many of which show antimicrobial properties. To comply with International regulations in terms of preservation efficacy, we have to add some extra substances, chosen amongst those allowed within natural and organic products. This is the reason why Phenoxyethanol can be found in some products. Please let us know if we can be of further help. With regards to the other ingriedients, Polysorbate 60 is an effective and safe emulsifier and Polyglyecryl-10 Laurate is non irritating and non-sensitizing. We would like to stress that all of our products have been fully safety assessed prior to market.'

Smell has changed

Been using this cream for years. Have been really satisfied with it. It's not the best smelling cream you have, which is a sacrifice given what it costs, as you have some amazing smelling moisturisers. Nevertheless, it's one I'm prepared to make as this cream keeps my skin looking and feeling young. However, the current one I am using, has an unpleasant medicinal smell to it as if the ingredients have changed. The same thing has happened to the current Frankincense toner I have bought as well. Obviously, there has been a change. Please change it back and if you have to add anything else, can't you add something that smells nice, not horrible?!...Response from NYR on 03.10.2019 'Thank you for your feedback and we're really sorry to hear of your disappointment with the smell of our Frankincense Nourishing Cream. Frustrating

This cream has become anything but nourishing, its very drying. Is this because you've changed the formula? There are a number of bad reviews on here and yet you never give your customers a proper response. I think it's rude to give an insincere apology, not answer the question and then tell them to contact you directly. What are you afraid of?
