Place a night light candle in the burner.

Add a small amount of water to the indentation on top of the burner and light the candle underneath.

Add a few drops of essential oil to the water.

Do not leave the burner unattended and do not allow the water to evaporate completely from the top plate. When refilling the burner while in use, be sure to use warm water to reduce the risk of the burner cracking.

It is advisable to place the burner on a heat resistant surface.
