Nice product

Nice product, not the best however I will continue using it. Not too greasy. Would be better if had SPF for sun protection during daytime use.

Great day cream

I used to have red and tight skin and tried everything, from supermarket to top end brand. I was using the rose moisturiser but something was changed and I went red again. However this works wonders, nice soft, non-tight skin and best off no bright red cheeks. I don't notice any smell which I think is a bonus. I use the rose balm at night cream they partner up great for me.

Good for very sensitive skin

My husband bought this by mistake when I had asked him to but the Almond sensitive skin moisturiser. At first, I wasn't impressed as it did not feel moisturising or rich enough for my skin, I'm in my 50s and my skin is dry after menopause. I also have mild Rosacea and this cream really helped my skin look clear and not red, it also felt smooth, this took a few days or so. I had previously used Frankinsence cream years ago but had to stop using it. I alsohad problems with the Almond cream that was meant for sensitive skin, it had quite a strong fragrance to it and my Rosacea reactted to whatever was in it. It is non greasy and I think would be suitable for most skin types.

A great moisturiser for combination skin.

I recently changed my skincare routine to another natural brand, unfortunately I had a major reaction and developed large cystic sores on my neck, forehead and around my lips. My skin felt like I was 16 again, and not in a good way! (I’m 26)  So a friend recommended Neal’s Yard. She didn’t specify a moisturiser but I went with this one.  It is a lovely lightweight moisturiser that has a thick feel in the jar. It also has a tightening effect when put on the face. It has an interesting smell, one that I’m not particularly fond of... but the quality and ethos of the brand are keeping me on it. I would recommend it to my friends and I am enjoying using it.

Does not work

1

I really tried wholeheartedly to give Neals Yard a chance, as I'm keen on using organic natural products. I liked the smell and consistency of this cream, however it does nothing for my skin - nothing at all except for drying it out. I tried avocado cream before trying this one, that just left a thin film on my face. Both creams do absolutely nothing, the blue jar Nivea is better than this, unfortunately

Not as good as I'd hoped.

I bought this after trying a few of the Rose products and liking them very much. I thought that this would be a nice moisturiser as it felt quite rich in the pot. However, I find that by mid morning my face feels quite tight, perhaps I need to use more of it. I bought it a couple of weeks ago during a trip to Bath, but I wouldn't buy it again - maybe I'll find something a bit more suitable from the Neals range. Its a shame, but you don't really know how any product will suit you until you try it.

A great every day face cream

I've been using the rose and mallow cream for a few years. It isn't a miracle worker. However, for my sensitive, combination, forty-something skin, this is one of the few products that doesn't irritate, that moisturises without leaving a slick on my face, and works well under make-up. I use an spf tinted moisturiser over the top, and a heavier cream at night, and my skin hasn't felt this balanced in years. A really good product.

Love this cream

Initially I was a bit disappointed, my skin felt tight after using the cream. I persevered and I am really glad that I did. My skin feels soft and fine lines are less visible after only a couple of weeks. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Exceeded all my expectations.

Wow. I was using Dermalogica before. This beats it. I was apprehensive on first application as it didn’t soak in easily to over exfoliated sensitive skin, but a few hours later I was radiant. So give it a bit of time in first application as I think the ingredients need a bit of time to do their magic. I put quite a lot on as well it wasn’t sinking in easily; probably too much, but then at night I literally applied the tiniest bit and i woke up looking like a million dollars :) Only criticism is it can feel a little tight, do get yourself a 100 rose water spray to spritz over this when you feel like it. I also recommend using this as a toner before. I love it because I don’t look all shiny like with the Dermalogica sensitive range fantastic it to you have sensitive/combination skin; which believe me is one of the most frustrating skin types you can have!! It’s just so clarifying my skin just looks well...normal for once which I know doesn’t sound like a huge compliment but believe me for someone with problem skin it’s like the heavens have answered It’s an absolute steal as well at £20; which I know may seem a lot to some people but I was paying £50-£60 per product from Dermalogica before I have problem skin so it was the only thing that worked I had no choice finally think I can switch brands and will look into more products from this line; as I’m wanting to move out this year and besides spending the majority of your wages on skincare ain’t fun I am so happy

Updated Review

Hi there! Few months back I gave this moisturiser a rather negative review, how wrong was I! Initially I purchased it due to its lovely scent and nice texture, however it didn't seem to really moisturise my skin. Now, after having used the full pot (despite my dissatisfaction), and getting used to it, I must admit this is probably one of the best face creams I have ever used. It does not create miracles, but works brilliantly as a no fuss face cream. Highly recommendable, if you are looking for a 'simple' face cream with a great light scent!
