Baby Massage Classes

Date: Mondays
Time: 10.30am - 12.00pm
Cost: £15 per session or £55 for a course of 4 sessions
Massaging your baby deepens the bond between infant and parent. A baby who is touched and massaged in a loving manner will feel recognised and valued and thus develop a strong sense of his/her own identity and self-worth.

Being supported can lead to a growing confidence in life. For the parent it can open up an in depth knowing of their baby, and will also develop confidence in physically handling their child.

We would like to introduce therapy workshops and taster sessions to all our customers. There are many different massage disciplines which can help us to fight the stress and strain of everyday life.  So it’s important to understand the different techniques and what they can offer you.

OSTEOPATHY AND DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE   With Mark      TUESDAYS 10.30-2.30       

A gentle hands-on treatment to correct imbalances in the body. Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment that corrects imbalances in the structure of our bodies. Osteopaths are trained to 'feel' disruptions in your muscles, bones, ligaments, and organs. They then use a variety of techniques, including manipulation, massage and stretching, to restore harmony to the nervous and musculoskeletal systems.

Osteopathy helps structural problems and can help to provide relief from conditions such as back pain, sciatica, arthritic pain, RSI and ease musculoskeletal problems during pregnancy

REFLEXOLOGY          with Christine     TUESDAYS 10.30-2.30           

Stimulating healing throughout the body using pressure points in the feet

Reflexology is an ancient Eastern healing tradition based on the principle that all parts of our body are connected by energy pathways which end in the hands, feet and head. A reflexology treatment uses pressure massage on specific areas of the feet to stimulate healing in the corresponding organs, glands and structures. This releases areas of tension and helps energy to flow more freely throughout your body.

ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE AND CRANIAL SACRAL THERAPY   With  Daska THURSDAYS  10.30-2.30  

Alexander Technique stores mobility and flexibility to your body to help with many physical complaints – Back aches, stiff neck, injuries from accidents, RSI and scoliosis. It can help with emotional states from anxiety to low self esteem. It can be used to improve voice, speech, breathing, singing and performance skills.
