I was given a tube of this hand cream to try. Not being accustomed to such things, my first usage was a "kids and ketchup" situation: squirted on far too much (although, only about a teaspoonful, in my defence) and wondered why it wouldn't absorb. Eventually, I wiped off the excess - and hoped for the best.nnI've suffered for 8 years with eczema. The splits in my hands were deep and oozing. Likewise at the elbows and various other places on my body. At times, I've attended hospitals for a double-length course of UV therapy to try and calm it down. One doctor described it as, "The worse case I've ever seen in 20 years, even in books." My skin is so ridiculously sensitive to just about everything: including fabric softener in my neighbours' laundry: I just dive indoors at the first hint of the synthetic fragrance. Similarly, I need to avoid the aisles in the supermarkets where the lads stacking the shelves are wearing half a can of body spray! It's a little more difficult when travelling!nnYou'll appreciate then, that the next day, I was relieved and delighted when this zesty honey and orange cream didn't cause a blotchy, red rash. No flaking either. So, given the lack of any allergic reaction, I decided to determine exactly how much was needed. My rationale was to apply a pea-sized amount, see how far it goes, then use a multiple accordingly (eg if it covered half of one hand, then four pea-sized amounts would be needed). I was very surprised to find just one pea-sized amount was sufficient for both hands.nnOn Day 2 I noticed that the eczema had started to heal over. Naturally, I assumed this to be a coincidence, but decided I'd continue with the cream, just in case it might be the cause. Every day I noticed an improvement. Soon I bought the Balm from this range to apply over what had been deep cracks down the sides of my hands. People were commenting on the difference - in fact, it became something of a "project" for some, being constantly amazed by the continued benefits I was experiencing.nnNow there are just some "creases" in the sides of my hands, a little bit like wrinkles. I know they're what used to be long-term eczema, so does anyone who knows me well. No one else even sees them. Perhaps they'll eventually disappear too.nnDespite this not being a medical preparation, I've stopped using what the medics gave me and am using this instead. In fact, I've written to the dermatologist with details of the product!
I had a free sample in a magazine yesterday and I applied it to my hands and was amazed to discover that the eczema that had been troubling me on one of my fingers had completely healed by the next day (today). There is now just some dry skin where it was. I've now ordered the shower gel and the body lotion to see if they are just as good.
This hand cream has a delicate orange scent. It moisturises beautifully and the effect lasts ages. Well worth the money.
I picked some of this hand cream up in my local Waitrose, it is, as the name suggests, lovely! Smells great and absorbs really well - this hand cream has made my normally quite dry hands, a thing of the past. New beauty favourite!
This hand cream is excellent. A little goes a long way. Leaves skin soft and silky. Smells delicious.
This hand cream is a real treat for hardworking hands. I am a nurse so always washing my hands. After the initial application my hands felt hydrated, nourished and rested. The amazing honey fragrance is complimented with the introduction of energising orange essential oil. A lovely combination!
