I am an accredited BACP Counsellor with 12 years’ experience in private practice. My approach is warm and down to earth; your comfort in the sessions is very important to me. My aim is to create a solid and supportive therapeutic alliance where you can start to understand yourself and find some clarity.

 

I use a Cognitive Behavioural approach which, in my experience, works well and makes sense to most individuals and in most life crises and situations. It's interactive and actively involves you in the sessions where you will learn techniques that you will be able to use both during and after therapy sessions. Together we will come up with some short term goals for change. I usually suggest we have six sessions; after which we can discuss how you’re feeling and whether you wish to continue.

 

My sincere overall aim is that you will then have a stronger, clearer sense of yourself and your life situation
