I have been practising as a herbalist for the last 15 years, after graduating from the School of Phytotherapy. I combine advice on diet and lifestyle with counselling on emotional areas, massage and herbal medicine treatment. The wellbeing of a person depends on many factors, and making changes in life can be difficult. The aim of the treatment is to provide enough support to make the necessary changes to improve your health, and create a supportive lifestyle which enables you fully to develop your strengths and improve your health. Herbal medicine can be particularly effective for treatment of depression, anxiety, and nervous tension, which can manifest in disease in many different ways. I aim to treat the whole person, not just the disease. Herbal medicine can offer a genuine holistic way of changing your life, and is fully aimed at understanding your own health and wellbeing. Disease can then become a transition into wellness from which we can gain a better understanding of our own limitations and strengths.
