Davide moved to Devon with his wife and 2 children in 2007.

After many years studying the ancient taoist martial art Ba-Gua, first in Sicily with Davide Verdesi, and then in Thailand with Mantak Chia, he decided to study Chinese Medicine.

Upon gaining an honours degree in Acupuncture from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicin, Davide established the Dartmoor Acupuncture Clinic in the morrland town of Chagford in 2012.

Davide is a Five Element and TCM practitioner, treating both physical symptoms, as well as the emotional roots of disease. During the first consultation you will be asked about your main symptoms, but also about your sleep, digestion and emotional wellbeing.

Acupuncture offers reliable and effective treatment frequently resolving challenging health problems such as insomnia, back pain, anxiety, depression, digestive problems, diabetes, headaches, arthritis and period pain. Davide also offers nutritional advice and physical therapies that support treatment.

Acupuncture is great for treating children too. Parents commonly bring their children for treatment of eczema, asthma, hayfever and muscoloskeletal problems, but acupuncture is also a useful resource for supporting teenagers through the hormonal changes of adolesence.

Treatments are deeply relaxing and offer time and space for clients to talk, or just wind down.

Many of my Davide's clients come to him on a regular basis, throughout the year to maintain health.
