David Thunder BSc (Hons) Ost., L.C.S.P (Phys), MBRCP – Acupuncture

Director of Thunder Training Ltd.

David first started work with an Osteopath at the age of 13. He gained an ITEC in Sports Massage at the age of 18 before going onto earning a degree in Osteopathy, graduating in 2001.

Since then David’s curiosity and insatiable appetite for knowledge has meant a broad and continuous study into health, resulting in a constant evolution in his practice.

He no longer uses the term or registers as an Osteopath but instead integrates a wide range of techniques including manipulative therapy, medical acupuncture, NLP, Functional Neurology, Running Coaching and Movement Re-Education into his clinical practice.

David’s vast clinical experience and unique skill set have ensured a large client base with all business coming from word of mouth referral.

His philosophy is based on understanding the source of the problem, finding the right solution and empowering people with the tools they need to manage their own health in the long term.

He currently teaches around the world working with professionals and members of the public in movement enhancement and clinical methodology.

Personal Comment:

In my career so far my clients have included royalty, the homeless, professional athletes, dancers and performers. I have found that in my practice understanding how the nervous system affects movement and pain in the body can lead to an understanding of the source of a client’s problem. Combining intelligent integrated bodywork with functional techniques that a client can easily take home it is possible to change old patterns of injury, break clinical dependency and improve quality of life.
