I discovered naturopathy while travelling in Australia in 1998. I was amazed at the health benefits that could be achieved through relatively simple dietary and lifestyle changes, and the idea of taking responsibility for my own health certainly appealed. I studied for four years at the renowned Nature Care College in Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Complementary Medicine and with diplomas in Advanced Naturopathy, Nutrition and Remedial Massage.
Since then I've practised from 5* hotels and clinics in Sydney, London, Cyprus and at the exclusive Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort. I also ran a successful private clinic in Brighton before recently relocating.
Passionate about health and wellbeing, my aim is to facilitate this enthusiasm in my clients by encouraging you to explore various options of healing to suit you. Everyone is treated individually; no two people or treatments are the same.
Extensive research into the links between emotions and the immune system supports the connection between the emotional and physical state; in most cases of dis-ease there is an underlying emotional imbalance. Naturopaths believe that this is your body’s way of communicating with you, and trust that once this imbalance is corrected then good health will follow. Naturopathy may help with many health concerns, from anxiety to digestive issues, and hormonal disorders to weight loss.
I am a member of the Complementary Therapists Association and am fully insured through Holistic Insurance Services.
