My interest in acupuncture began after 10 years of Qi gong practice and successful acupuncture treatments. The focus learned in Qi gong has influenced my development as a practitioner. Beyond the holistic principles of acupuncture, I am interested in the client/practitioner relationship and in mindful practice. I listen to and collaborate with clients to define and develop the approach and focus of care. I believe that acupuncture complements Western medicine.
My experience includes helping clients with pain, muscular skeletal problems, sports injury, gynaecology, obstetrics, skin problems, headaches, fatigue, stress management, addictive behaviour, emotional strain, palliative care, oncology, geriatric problems and relaxation.
I am also an acupuncturist at St Christopher’s Hospice in London and I have volunteered at St Joseph's Hospice in Hackney and the Ananda Nagar Institute free acupuncture clinic, West Bengal, India.
Therapies provided are Acupuncture, TuiNa massage, Cupping, Holistic facial acupuncture, Electro-acupuncture and Auricular acupuncture.
