Achieving stillness of the mind has been my ultimate aim in recent years. As an advocate of health, a yoga enthusiast, student and teacher, I believe everyone goes through some difficulty at some point, and quite often we mask how we are feeling.
With that in mind, and through my experience in holistic health care, I often remind myself of the vulnerability of everyone who walks into my treatment room, or yoga session, and wonder how I can help to improve their quality of life through the therapies I provide. The treatments I deliver are always personal, and yet professional, of a high standard and also respectful of each person’s space.
My areas of interest are in stress management, movement disorders, anxiety and depression, addiction and cancer.
My passion for my work in complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) leads me to continuously develop my skills and make new discoveries through specialist workshops with reputable teachers and pioneers.
I am currently a Yoga Therapist in training, I run a weekly trauma-sensitive adapted yoga class at a national charity group, I teach general yoga classes and offer complementary therapy treatments at Neal’s Yard Remedies Manchester.
