Great product - just can’t get the pump to work!
5I’ve been a fan of NYR for many years, I really like the power of this cleanser to remove makeup etc and it’s perfect for after sport, leaves the skin feeling really soft and recharged. The frankincense smell is unique and really relaxing. If only I could get the pump to work! To get the product out I have to keep opening the bottle and shaking some out. That’s my only grumble,

5I was really surprised when I saw a number of negative reviews so I felt I had to do one of my own. There are now three different types of frankincense cleanser to choose from and I have tried them all. This one is a milk cleanser - in no way does it clog skin - I wash it off and it leaves my skin clean and soft and hydrated. I love it. For a more foamy type cleanser, use the one in the plastic tube - rejuvenating frankincense refining cleanser. It's a few pounds more and comes with a muslin cloth. Also really good - although I prefer the milk cleanser personally. Finally there is a clear gel which turns first to oil for facial massage and then foamy with water and is called frankincense intense. It is designed for mature skin and is super-hydrating. Each of them will have their fans but it really isn't fair to mark this one down because it's not what you prefer. I love the smell of frankincense - it is proven to improve mood. This one is my personal favourite but the others are also good.

5I use this wash to take my make-up off in the evening and I love how gentle it is. It’s great at removing make-up and never dries my skin out.

3This Frankincense facial wash has changed. It is now a milky style cleanser other than a clear thicker gel. Because of the more liquid texture I find I it doesn’t go as far and last as long as previously. Also the fragrance is much weaker so find I have needed to add some of my own frankincense essential oil to it. Very disappointed

2I am usually a big fan of NYR products but really dissapointed with this one in terms of its fragrance, very overpowering.

3I adore this product and have used it for years as a morning facial wash (because it's gentle and doesn't strip your facial oils off), but the price is too dear and the product doesn't last as long as you would like for the money. I ran out of this just yesterday and now i'm going to have to find a cheaper alternative, which is a genuine shame. Combine that with the fact the Geranium and Orange soap recipe changed (and rightly so with regards palm oil), i'm left without an evening face wash for removing makeup. Beauty Sleep Concentrate is now the only product left at Neal's Yard that i will happily throw money at - that is a face cream that is unbeatable! :)

3For more years than I care to think of I have used Palmarosa Facial Wash and Frankincense Hydrating Cream on a daily basis and have always been extremely pleased with both products. Just recently I realised that you produced a Frankincense Facial Wash, and decided that I would give it a try and use it alongside my Frankincense Hydrating Cream. Compared to the Palmarosa Facial Wash it comes a very poor second, and I will never make the mistake of ordering it again. I am sure it will suit some people, but it is certainly not for me. The Palmarosa actually feels like a facial wash, which the Frankincense doesn't. Very disappointed, and when the bottle I ordered is finished, I shall go back to the Palmarosa

1I am so disappointed with this, I don’t know if it works well because I’m so distracted by the scent - which reminds me of something used in garages for cleaning hands up. I wanted to love this product as I love the NY aromatherapy blends. I’m even wondering if I’ve just bought a beautiful looking, but duff bottle.

5I really love this face wash, I have quite sensitive skin which is prone to drying out and this face wash is perfect. it’s gentle and leaves my skin feeling fresh and moisturised. Only use one pump at a time so lasts me a long time. Love the smell too!

5This is the first time i have tried your products and i am delighted with this facial wash. I feel it rejuvenates/rehydrates and leaves my skin feeling great. I have never found a product that has really suited til i found this one as my skin is quite sensitive and other products leave it feeling claggy.
