I don’t recommend

I bought this, having been advised in the Manchester shop that it was the best for fine hair. I agree with other comments that the product is difficult to get out of the bottle and also the lid fell apart on the first use. The conditioner didn’t untangle my hair at all and so was almost impossible to work through the hair evenly. The only good thing about it is the smell. The last time I bought Neals Yard hair products was around 10 years ago, and the experience was very similar. Please listen to feedback Neals Yard!

Worst conditioner ever....Leaves my hair knotted

I have tried to persevere with this conditioner but each time I’m left with unmanageable and knotted hair. The remaining conditioner has now gone in the bin, I have never had a conditioner leave my hair feeling like this before

Lavender conditioner

One star for the pleasant smell. Expensive conditioner that is not a good buy. No lather at all, so in the shower, even with rubbing it around in the hands first you cannot be sure it is impregnating the hair and scalp, I find that I cannot get the conditioner out of the bottle through the push top because the bottle plastic is too hard to squeeze, I have to unscrew the top and bang it out as you would a ketchup bottle to get a decent amount out. I don't find that it gives a good shine as advertised even with a lot of product. Very disappointing product

Just awful!

The 1 star is for the smell! Visited Solihull branch & had to interrupt 2 chatting assistants to get advice They answered my question on whether this was correct for my hair type with a vague nod & continued their chat. Maybe they’d read these reviews! The conditioner has actually damaged my hair, stripping it til it feels like straw & making it impossible to comb through. I am a long time NY customer but not sure after this experience. I’d like my £11 refunded. If this continues to be sold I would relabel & remove the word ‘nourishing’ from the name. I’ve never written a review before but then I’ve never used anything this bad

Very disappointed

Feel bad doing this as usually love NYR products, but this conditioner is terrible. Only bought it because usual geranium conditioner (which is fabulous) was unavailable, so thought I’d try this. My curly hair is fine and flyaway so thought it would be suitable. It’s utterly useless and makes my flyaways worse and my curls are non existent. When applying it doesn’t seem to coat the hair very well and just slips off which is probably why the results are so bad So disappointed and will never use it again. Will save my money and stick with the geranium range

Very disappointing.

I agree with the poor ratings here. This product leaves my hair feeling stripped and dry, and the result is MORE flyaway hair than before. I would not use this again. Same for the shampoo

Unusable

This conditioner (and shampoo) just doesn't work! I have now read some of the reviews and understand that Neal's Yard AIM for it to be non-foaming, but how can it possibly leave the hair 'lustrous and manageable, from root to tip' if you can't run your fingers through it - let alone a comb! I keep trying with my bottle as it was meant to be an expensive treat - but it just feels like I am putting paint stripper on my hair! Sadly, I bought this before boarding my flight back to Australia, so I can hardly take it back!

Is this even shampoo?

This shampoo is the worst I've ever used, it's more like body lotion and does not lather at all. The conditioner is just the same and can barely be worked through the hair. This is the first time I've tried NY products and will stick to Lush in future. A complete waste of money! So dissapointed

Very disappointing

I have already commented on the nourishing lavender shampoo and the same problems apply to the conditioner. The other problem I had with the conditioner is that after using a conditioner I would expect my hair to be easy to comb through but with this conditioner my hair is tangled, not at all smooth and very difficult to comb. As with the shampoo I have reluctantly thrown it away and am annoyed at the amount it cost and was not usable

I have Fine hair, not Thin hair

Smells gorgeous but I have fine hair, A LOT of it. I have used this three thimes and almost finished the bottle because, as oter reviews have said, it is so difficult to get through the hair. And then it's really hard to rinse. Sadly disappointed
