Disappointed
1I have sensitive skin and this moisturiser was absolutely wonderful. I noticed when I placed a new order towards the end of last year that the original product had changed. New product code and no reviews! I did wonder where it had gone. I have noticed with the last two pots that although it seems to moisturise as before it leaves an orange tinge on my skin. It never did this with the old product. It took two days of moving to another product before my skin was back to it's original colour. I don't know if with a new product code the ingredients have been changed. So disappointed and now have one unopened pot that I can no longer use

3I used to love this product, recently purchased it a few weeks ago and noticed its starting to irritate my skin, not sure if NY have changed the ingredients or something about it. It seemed to be the only cream that used to work for me now i'm on the hunt for another cream :(

5My skin has always been a sensitive matter for me. Over the years I have gone backwards and forwards from cystic acne to perfect skin, to extremely dry, to super oily. I have never found the right products. You name it, I have tried it. There was one brand I hadn’t tried though; Neals Yard. To give you an idea; I am now 3 months postpartum, my skin is extremely dry, peeling and full of breakouts. I could be mistaken for a clown with these horrible blemishes and bags under my eyes, which one only wishes were designer. I came across this in Waitrose and I am so glad I did. It’s the best thing which has come out of this pandemic (minus my baby!). Two weeks in to using this product and my skin has never felt so hydrated and healthy. My breakouts have calmed down, my skin is no longer peeling, my blemishes aren’t blemishes anymore and my skin is glowing. You would almost think I am not a sleep deprived mother! The scent is subtle and it isn’t overpowering. It is a smooth, thick consistency, so you only need a small amount of product. Which is always a great thing! You can apply this at 7am and expect your skin to be so smooth and soft at 10pm. It sinks in so well and it doesn’t becoming sticky like some moisturisers do. This is definitely a 10/10 from me. If only I knew about this sooner, I could have saved thousands on moisturisers! I look forward to trying other products. Let’s hope they’re all as good as this.

5Like you, I cannot understand the poor reviews, as this cream soaks in like a dream. I bought some as an emergency lock down purchase in place of my usual Frankincense Intense Lift. If you don't need the more intensive option, this would be ideal. I sometimes think people just like something to moan about.

5I have used this cream for several years and find it beautifully moisturising. I don’t understand the poor reviews, I have always bought direct from Neal’s Yard and have never had any problems with the product. It is rich enough for my 61 year old skin without being heavy.

1I'd used this cream a few years ago and loved it so when I recently bought it again I was full of optimism. I am aware that I have very sensitive skin so am cautious what I put on it however as I'd used before and my skin was currently very tolerant I had no concerns. Yesterday I started to notice some itching and inflammation around my eyes and this morning I woke up looking like i'd been in a fight, redness and puffy eyes. Nothing else has changed except the use of this cream. It certainly seems that something has changed in the formulation somewhere and this product is no longer suitable for people with sensitive skin. Very disappointing and terrible waste of money. Yet another company that seems to have forfeited quality in favor of increased profits.

1I've been using this face cream for years but my latest pot makes my skin burn every time I put it on. It's left my face feeling and looking really dry and I'm getting rashes plus the burning. I came on to the site to see if the recipe had changed and see from the comments that the timing corresponds with my latest pot. Very disappointed and wary of trying other NY products now.

5I have used this cream on and off for years and always loved it but the latest pot gave me a bad allergic reaction and left me with a hot, itchy burning red face. I'm so disappointed as not only have I got a full pot of cream that I can't use, I had to go and buy a calming cream to fix my angry red skin. I know this won't happen to everyone but do a patch test if skin is sensitive.

5I’ve been using this face cream daily for at least 3 years and it’s second to none. It’s a perfect long lasting moisturiser and is rich enough to use as night cream - it’s outstanding

5I used to use this cream about 4 years ago. If I recall correctly, it had alcohol denat. in it, which I wasn't keen on and it didn't seem very moisturising, so I stopped using it. I've recently rediscovered this cream and I adore the packaging, smell and texture. It feels like a wonderfully rich balm and makes my sensitive skin, soft and supple.
