Not for purpose
1Bought this cream from amazon and it is horrendous, sits on top of skin and does not sink in, no smell of frankincense like the one I bought years ago, am returning, what a waste of money, product should be recalled
Report this reviewStrange side effect
3Whilst this is lovely and moisturising, I have had to stop using it on my face...it turns me orange! I note a couple of other people have said the same in their reviews. I know use it as a hand/foot cream instead, as I don’t mind the slight orange tone too much on my hands/feet...but seems like a very overpriced cream to use on hands and feet!

1I've used this moisturiser for years now, and recently bought a couple of new pots from eBay. The smell of the product started to deteriorate really quickly, and I thought I might have been sold a fake product. I've scrutinised the labelling and can see it is in fact genuine. After a couple of months, the product starts to smell of wet dog. Very unpleasant. I've even thrown some away, hoping it was a one-off, but no, the second jar is just as bad. Not up to scratch. I'll be looking for an alternative unless Neal's Yard go back to their original formulation
Report this reviewDisappointing
1I’ve bought Neal’s Yard creams many times over the years, confident in the knowledge that they are organic and have pure ingredients. So I didn’t even check the ingredients when I ducked into the store to buy the Frankincense Hydrating Cream. When I went to use it I was disappointed firstly, to find it didn’t smell at all of frankincense (they used to) and secondly to read the ingredients and find the second ingredient, after water, was sunflower seed oil and it wasn’t asterisked as organic. I feel, seeing as sunflower seed oil makes up a large part of the cream – and that sunflowers are farmed on such a big scale often using enormous amounts of herbicide – this is (or should be) out of step with NYR’s ethos. Especially as I paid AUD$60 for it. I feel let down by this company and no one responded to me when I emailed my dissatisfaction
Report this reviewChange of Ingredients - Poorer Quality
1This used to my favourite skincare product, I even bought it for the rest of my family. When I noticed a difference in quality c.one year ago, I checked and compared the list of ingredients (old vs. new pot) and saw a change in the formula. I am quite into my organic skincare and know almost all ingredients and could see a change from higher quality, more expensive ingredients to lower quality and cheaper ingredients. At the same time, the previous price of GBP25 has gone up to GBP30. What a disappointment!

1I noticed in the last week or so that I have yellowy-orange patches on my face and neck. Only when reading 'Disappointed' review today did I realise it was from using this product! I'm going to use a different moisturiser until this goes, then I have the Frankincense nourishing cream to try. I've had this product before, and never had this problem in the past

3It would be useful if the NYR customer care team would answer the reviewers’ questions about whether this product’s ingredients have recently changed
Report this reviewDisappointed
1I have sensitive skin and this moisturiser was absolutely wonderful. I noticed when I placed a new order towards the end of last year that the original product had changed. New product code and no reviews! I did wonder where it had gone. I have noticed with the last two pots that although it seems to moisturise as before it leaves an orange tinge on my skin. It never did this with the old product. It took two days of moving to another product before my skin was back to it's original colour. I don't know if with a new product code the ingredients have been changed. So disappointed and now have one unopened pot that I can no longer use

3I used to love this product, recently purchased it a few weeks ago and noticed its starting to irritate my skin, not sure if NY have changed the ingredients or something about it. It seemed to be the only cream that used to work for me now i'm on the hunt for another cream :(
Report this reviewUsed to be excellent
2I am mid 60s and have been using the hydrating cream for several years now and absolutely loved it. However I recently bought another large jar, and sadly am very disappointed. I have sensitive skin and the old cream was lovely-no problems whatsoever, supplemented at night by the Nourishing cream. Since opening my new jar, I have noticed that my face is now quite itchy, and very red in areas. My skin doesn't feel comfortable at all. I wondered whether the ingredients had been changed, and it seems from a few reviews that other regular users have noticed an adverse reaction. Given the cost of the cream, I am not at all happy, and don't know if i should persevere with using it as I could be causing harm to my skin.
