Citronella Formula 100ml

Every year I get bitten alive when we spend the summer in Italy. Last year I was recommended this product but it seemed to be completely out of stock, so when I was visiting the Marylebone branch back in June this year, I spotted 3 bottles and snapped them all up. Absolutely amazing! I have sprayed the citronella formula on roughly 3 times a day and apart from one pesky bite ( which may have been down to me not respraying properly) I have been bite free for the past 6 weeks. The fragrance is not too bad and miles better than other brands. Unlike the jungle deet competitor, this does not take your nail varnish off either! I am so thrilled and thankful by this mini miraculous blue bottle that I felt the least I could do would be to write a review. Please keep stocking this product Neals Yard and do not change the formula. What a brilliant and effective life changing product - no more unsightly bitten and itching limbs for me. Love this product. It's fantastic for repelling insects and mosquitoes. Used it for the first time on holiday this year and didn't get bitten once, neither did my son. We normally get eaten alive, even when doused with the jungle formula brand of products. We've never found a more effective spray, and one that smells great too. Had family abroad ask me to get some for them after using mine as they loved the smell and protection it offered being an organic remedy.

Totally brilliant - but best used on horses who are suffering with flies. Thank you Neals Yard for this great spray. You made a mare very happy!

It works like a miracle! I guess everyone has different skin. I live on a farm in central Portugal, and we have a LOT of insects. Like how you wish you would walk around with a mosquito net hanging over you all the time as they land on you *all* the time. Several a second. But the moment I squirt this on, they’re gone. There’s none of the stickiness, or gagging that you get with conventional repellents. My only quibble is that I wish that it came in a large bottle, as I need to buy about 100 of them to get through a summer here.

Little jars of citronella may smell strong but they do repel insects. This bottle of spray though does not smell great and also does not seem to repel insects. Since using this in the last week I've been bitten twice. Shame as it's quite expensive for something that isn't that effective

Gorgeous refreshing spritz - overall lovely, but i have had a couple of bites.It is a small bottle (great to carry in bag) but there is NO option to buy a refill. The spritzer bottle is plastic not blue glass - in description it says glass. Good quality, bizarre no refill option, disappointed it is not a glass bottle (not as described).
