Whilst I'm a big NYR fan, I was disappointed that the only foundation to emerge was a mineral powder one. I'd always used liquid foundation, so was worried this would give me a powdered, caked look, not much different to a face powder. However, keen to change to an organic and paraben-free product, I thought I'd take the plunge. How wrong I was to doubt this product. It does not give a powdered, caked look at all. On the contrary, it leaves a flawless, smooth finish, allowing moisturiser to still peek through with a reassuring gleam. It is so easy to apply, you can't make mistakes with it. You simply apply it with a big brush, and add more if necessary. And maybe best of all, you know you're not pumping chemicals of dubious origin or outcome into your face.
