This ointment has a multitude of uses, at the moment I am using it as an outdoor face balm. It really protects vulnerable skin against the biting winds and heavy rain. Use it as it is underneath WILD ROSE SPF30 It really is excellent. 5 stars for this basic but beneficial cream
