I have tried gels, creams, oils, even a hot towel shave, but this cream does take some beating. It actually deep cleanses your skin (sort of like a mask) and produces a thick creamy lather, which clings to stubble (giving a closer clean shave). I would love a NYR shave gel for summer (just for a change) but the cream is highly recommended, even if you have a heavy stubble.
