Note: Organic Content
The Traditional Herbal Medicines Product Directive requires the sole use of the Traditional Herbal Registration (THR) certification mark. This means that no additional logos or certification marks may be present. European legislation requires that the EU Organic logo must be present on all certified organic products for internal consumption (food, beverages, remedies etc), and that the word ‘organic’ may not be present anywhere on packaging or marketing materials unless a product is certified organic. It has therefore not been possible for us to fulfil both THMPD registration and organic certification requirements, nor are we allowed to identify herbs from organic agriculture. We would like to offer our reassurance that our policy on the use of organic herbs remains unaffected.
