If You have Oily/Sensitive/'over active' (acnegenic) skin-I have the first two,do sample this product Great concept behind this Foundation. I am impressed on how NYR has has used only natural, organically derived skin benefitting ingredients, forgoing chemicals MY TOP FIVE FAVOURITE INGREDIETNS 1)Sweet Almond Oil: Great as it absorbs well and moisturizes the skin. Don't be afraid if you have oily skin as it will not block the pores and even oily skin needs a treat 2)Tocopherol and White Tea: Okay they are two ingredients but I count them as one for the same benefits they give. They are ANTIOXIDENTS so are brilliant at protecting against enviromental damage. Tocopherol (VITAMIN E)is great humecent (locks in moisture) and White Tea 3)Zea Mays: 'Corn Flour'. Replaces Talc as a base, so it will not block pores. Also it absorbs excess oil. Great for touch ups or to reduce shine. Orgainc and Sustainable 4)Koalin: A clay powder. Used as the base (with Corn Flour). Absorbs oil and is a soothing agent (Same ingredient used in Clay Masks). Good for those who have either Oily/Irritable/Inflamed skin (I have all three, but so much the last-NOW) 5)Iron Oxides: Blend of pigments create 6 beautiul, skin matching shades. I use shade 6. There Natural and not animal derived (unlike LAKES-organic pigments) As for Coverage is quite sheer,so I'll be good as a finnishing/setting/touch up powder, however you can build it to a decent Medium coverage by buffing with the NYR Kabuki brush in sucessive layers or use a Liqued Foundation Brush (Try Eco Tool's)and work into the skin that way for a fuller coverage. I find the second method worked best for me. I applied with the same stroking action as you would use for liqued make-up. The Finnish gave a dewy glow, however a few nasties on my face did show so I applied concealer, so no problem in the end. As for dry skin I wouldn't recommend it as much (my face type shifts as in winter it becomes VERY DRY AND OILY, whilst in Summer OILY AND NORMAL). I sampled this product in Winter and it felt uncomfortable (outside in the chill but not so inside however-my skin is the 8th wonder of the world! it doesn't know if its coming or going and even baffles me sometimes) but I will certainly be using it in Summer as my skin type then is better at taking this product and if you uave the same skin also, as i do in summer I strongly recommend it. FEW...I said a lot, but overall its an inspired make-up PS. NYR should do a compact Version+concealers+Liqued foundation+primer (most primers have silicones and I have no luck finding a more natural one)
