I became interested in complementary therapies shortly after the birth of my first child when a friend recommended reflexology to me. While working in healthcare, I became very intrigued by the power of touch and the positive effect it could have on patients. Because I had experienced the benefits of reflexology for myself, I began to consider studying complementary therapies.
In 2011 I began my studies and qualified in holistic massage in 2012. I soon found that I wanted to expand my knowledge of massage techniques and attended an advanced and deep tissue massage course. I find this can be very effective in relieving chronic muscle tension and I like to integrate it into my massage work where necessary. 

I am currently studying reflexology and will be adding this to my practice in 2013.
