I have been practising acupuncture since 1984. I was first inspired to study Chinese medicine as a result of learning and then teaching taiji qian (tai chi) from the 1970's.
Since then I have undertaken many post graduate studies. These include acupuncture for children, contemporary techniques such as auricular (ear) acupuncture and Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture even though my training is deeply rooted in ancient East Asian wisdom. I studied European and Chinese Herbal medicine which I have been practising for over 25 years.
I have been involved in teaching most of my working life; this includes herbal medicine, paediatrics and gynaecology
In clinical work I have a special interest in women's health issues and fertility, respiratory problems, muscular skeletal dysfunction and finding the solution to unexplained pain.
