Jo trained at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine where she was awarded a BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Jo's interest in Chinese Medicine began during her childhood in Hong Kong. Her previous career was with Neal's Yard Remedies in London where she gained an extensive knowledge of complementary healthcare. After taking a break to start her family she went on to specialise in Chinese Medicine and undertook her Acupuncture degree training. Since qualifying Jo has continued to develop her skills, most notably in the areas of gynaecology and fertility, and pain management.
Jo considers Acupuncture to be useful not only for acute conditions, but also a key component of long term health maintenance.
