I was drawn to training in massage after receiving an amazing Indian Head Massage at a music festival in 2004 and feeling the incredible benefits. That day I decided I had to train in massage and pass on the benefits to others. I finally qualified in Swedish Massage in 2008, and since then, I have continued to update my knowledge through other courses and CPD. Offering a person-centred approach, I am very enthusiastic about massage and the effects it can have. I like to work on as many people as I think would benefit from it, which includes working in the wider community, not just the therapy room. I have treated homeless people at a London Christmas shelter run by the charity Crisis, parents of primary school aged children at school fundraisers, students in the run-up to exams, and marathon runners at the London Marathon. Swedish Massage can be full body, just on the back or other variations depending on clients' needs.
