As an acupuncturist I do not just examine the complaint that is presented to me, but I also take a look at the patient as a whole and try to find out about possible underlying causes as well as emotional and lifestyle issues. It is very rewarding to help a client find links between their complaint(s), and also trying to find ways in which clients can take more control of their own life.
