Marcos has been a practising herbalist since 2004.  He received several academic awards while studying herbal medicine, and now provides herbal help for a wide variety of conditions.  He has a special interest in supporting people living with HIV, and latterly provides a similar service for clients diagnosed with cancer, interpreting medi-speak and using herbal and dietary interventions to augment or offset mainstream treatment. He also has experience treating babies and young children.  Marcos is currently conducting ongoing observation- and pharmacy-based research into the uses of herbal medicine in HIV, studying medieval & classical medical astrology, and writing his first book on the pharmaceutical history and usage of chocolate.
