How Flower Essences are made

Flower Essences are simply made by placing the flowering parts in a bowl of water and leaving them in direct sunlight. The effectiveness and quality of the essence is maximised by using pure spring water and ensuring uninterrupted sunlight for many hours. The plants used must be free of environmental contaminants and should be used at the height of their bloom and vitality.

The ‘mother tincture’, which remains once the flower parts are removed, is then further diluted and preserved with a mixture of organic alcohol and water.
