In addition to our own campaigns and projects, we work along side like-minded charities and organisations. Here are just a few we are proud to support.
In addition to our own campaigns and projects, we work along side like-minded charities and organisations. Here are just a few we are proud to support:

We don't test any of our products on animals and never have. We prefer to rely on our deep botanical knowledge of herbs and flowers and to use our technical expertise to make great skin and body care products, tinctures and herbal remedies. Instead of tests on rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and rats, we employ an independent company that uses human volunteers to trial new products, to make sure they're safe and effective.
We use standards developed by leading animal protection campaign groups and our continued commitment to animal welfare has been recognised by campaigners from PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, and the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection who awarded us a 'golden' rabbit and by the RSPCA who commended our stance on the issue.
We support animal welfare charity FRAME (Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments) which is an NGO (Non Governmental Organisation) dedicated to the scientific development, acceptance and use of methods that can be used instead of animal experiments.
Ethical, sustainable & fair trade
Using ethically sourced, socially responsible, fairly traded ingredients isn't just good for our suppliers, it's good for business too.
Choosing only sustainably-sourced ingredients means we're helping to protect the planet for our future and our children's future.
We've been with some of our suppliers for over 30 years.
Right: Our wild-harvested organic frankincense is fairly traded in Northern Kenya.
Here we see NYR's Natural Health Director, Susan Curtis, with the women of the Samburu Tribe who collect our precious frankincense resin by hand from the wild-growing trees.
