How to use:
Bath & Shower
Inhale the aromatic stream while your skin absorbs all the benefits of the oil. For adults, add up to 5 drops in 2 tbsp bath oil, shower gel, full fat milk or carrier oil. For children over 2 years old or adults with sensitive skin, reduce the amount to up to 2 drops per 2 tbsp.
This technique helps to clear your head and nose. For adults, add 4–6 drops to a bowl of steaming water, pace a towel over your head and breathe. Children over 2 years old, adults with sensitive skin and asthmatics should not inhale directly. Instead, place the bowl of hot water with added oils in the room nearby.
Relaxes your body and mind while helping to soothe aching muscles. For adults, use up to 15 drops in 2 tbsp of base oil. For children over 2 years old or adults with sensitive skin, use up to 6 drops in 2 tbsp of base oil.
Diffusers & Burners
A natural air freshener, this technique creates a relaxing ambiance and mood. For adults, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser or burner. For children over 2 years old, add 1–3 drops in a diffuser.
The scent is delicate and feminine. It diffuses very well from our downstairs diffuser and fragrances the whole home, including upstairs with just 2 drops of this and 2 drops of mandarin (a great combination). The scent is extremely relaxing, and it really does force my body to wind down and literally makes my eyes heavy. I use several oils from the RELAXING range, and this is the only oil that does this. The only things holding me back from giving 5*s are: 1) The price. My WOMENS BALANCE and MANDARIN oils from NY, as well as others from other stores are far lower in terms of price, and for 10ml+ instead of 2.5ml. 2) The application. For some reason this oil is very hard to get out of the bottle. It doesn't 'drip' out as with all other oils I've ever purchased from NY or other suppliers, and this makes it difficult to know how much you've 'tapped' out and is just a bit of a pain/faff when you just want to relax. I'm not sure if this is because of the type of oil or if my bottle has a defect as I've not purchased pure neroli before...Response from NYR on 09.08.17 'Thank you for contacting us. Neroli essential oil is indeed very costly which is why we only sell it in 2.5 ml, the reason being that it takes an enormous amount of flowers to be able to extract the essential oil and the flowers are so delicate that they need to be hand-picked early in the morning. So the processes, time required and also amount of material are considerably higher than what is required to make the Mandarin essential oil for instance. In terms of the oil not coming down as easily as others, it is also due to the type of essential oil it is and I would suggest that you warm the bottle in your hand when you tip it down, which will make it more liquid. We hope this is helpful information but please do not hesitate to contact our Customer care team on 01747834634 or email@example.com if you require further advice'
I recently bought some Neroli essential oil. Smells nice but it says 'made in England' on the label, which I find extremely hard to believe is correct. I would be interested to know from which country it is actually sourced...Response from NYR on 02.08.17 'Due to labelling regulations, we have to mark on the label where the essential oil was bottled. Our Neroli comes from Tunisia: http://www.nealsyardremedies.com/aromatherapy/aromatherapy-oils-and-blends/essential-oils/2170.html#q=neroli&start=9 Do contact customer care if you wish to know the origin of any of our ingredients and oils.
