Rosehip Oil is an excellent source of essential fatty acids, which promote the production of the prostaglandins involved in tissue healing and regrowth. The fatty acids also help to promote cellular development and collagen synthesis, which is important for keeping skin smooth and supple.

Amazing!
By Hannah from Suffolk on 18/05/2017

I use this oil practically every day, and have found that after constant use I now suffer from far less break outs. Whenever my skin feels dry and tight, especially after a shower, I use this and my skin feels instantly hydrated. I used to break out constantly and suffer with large under the skin spots but since using this, I've literally only had one or two in the space of a year. This oil is my miracle oil, and personally it's benefited me amazingly and wouldn't use anything else now!

Great oil
By Mr Happy from West Midlands on 11/03/2017

Thanks for bringing back the organic version of this great oil. You only need to use a couple of drops for this oil to work. It's a great regenerating oil for skin. Thank you Neals yard remedies for this top quality oil. Fab.

Rosehip Oil
By Ronnie Mack from London on 13/02/2017

I have waited for this oil to come into stock for several months now. I travel quite a lot so at the first opportunity went to Covent Garden to purchase rosehip oil. To my absolute disappointment, the formula has changed. I used the oil on the same day of purchase and found it was so heavy on my skin and the smell was absolutely awful. The previous oil was lighter in colour and did not have a distinctive odour. Worst of all, after a few days of use, my skin has had an adverse reaction. I have spots on my cheek and on my chin. I am devastated that someone has seen fit to change the original formula when it worked perfectly well. It helped to lighten any blemishes and very absorbent. The new version sat on my skin and does not absorb very well at all. Neal's Yard have made a huge mistake here...Response from NYR on 21.02.17 'Thank you for your feedback and sorry to hear of your disappointment with our Organic Rosehip oil. Please do contact our Customer Care team at advice@nealsyardremedies.com if you would like to discuss this further and so that they can arrange an alternative for you.'

Too expensive
By zelda from Oxford on 22/01/2017

I found this for £9.95 on another site... seems a massive mark up...Response from NYR on 26.01.17 'Thank you for the information. We can only recommend buying Neal’s Yard Remedies products from our authorised website or suppliers. We have researched our sources for rosehip seed oil thoroughly and our long term supplier provides us with a consistently high quality as well as being sourced from a collective operated by remote farmers providing income for some of Chile’s poorest communities, as well as being organic (Soil Association certified) and sustainable. Please contact us if you require any further information on advice@nealsyardremedies.com'

Wonderful product, loving it!
By Eva A from London , United Kingdom on 02/06/2015

First, I was a bit sceptical about the idea of using oil on my combination skin prone to breakouts, especially around the jaw line. I was told that this oil is particularly good for acne scars that tend to linger for a long time after a spot is already gone. I also noticed that loads of cult products on the market use rosehip as their staple ingredient so I thought it must be worth trying it on its own. I'm so pleased I got convinced! It's a very dry oil so it doesn't leave you with an oily film after application like most oils do, it rather adds a nice radiance to the skin and gets absorbed really quickly. It moisturises beautifully which is a real relief since I'm also prone to dry patches. I used to just apply richer moisturises in these dry areas (like my chin) but the creams often used to leave my skin a bit congested. Rosehip oil doesn't do it at all, it seems to wonderfully moistirise my skin deeply without clogging the pores. I like to use palmarosa moisturiser on top during the day or I just add a bit of rosehip oil to the cream in my palm, mix and apply it together. The only thing to bare in mind is that rosehip oil has a fairly short expiry date, which means that I just keep it in a dark cuppboard, not sure whether that's the best thing to keep it at its best. I also recommend getting a pump from NYR store, it works perfectly with it and I'd imagine that it also protects it from going off too quickly, since you don't have to open the bottle each time. I hope NYR will never discontinue this brilliant oil!

Glowing Skin with Rosehip Oil
By Bessie Dias from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates on 02/06/2015

I have dry mature skin with acne scars. I was recommended Rosehip Oil particularly for the scars. Since I am a NYR customer, I bought their organic Rosehip oil. I use it in the day under my moisturizer which also is from NYR - Jasmine Enriching Cream. It has been two weeks now since I started using this oil and I am excited about the results it is giving me - my scars have started to even out, my skin looks healthy, glowing and firmer. This amazing oil (rich is Vitamin A, C and E)is now my staple skin care product. I trust NYR for their effective, customer-care products.
