Advanced Massage & Improved Posture

 
 

A practical, technique led day to enrich your skills and positively enhance your practice with emphasis on an awareness of your body, posture and injury prevention. An innovative, one-day course specifically designed so that therapists can learn a range of invaluable massage techniques to effectively treat common areas of tension and discomfort that clients commonly present with. You'll develop a greater awareness of your client's and your own needs, both posturally and emotionally. As well as practise a range of practical solutions to give the variety, scope and confidence necessary to add a vibrant dimension to your bodywork.

Course covers

  • Consider the physiology and common complaints therapists are faced with.
  • Explore basic musculoskeletal dysfunctions such as trigger points, hypersensitive zones and how to effectively treat these areas.
  • Practically focus on these areas and explore a wide range of massage techniques including sidelying, utilising the forearm and elbow.
