We’ve been running courses for over 30 years in all areas of Natural Health, Beauty and Wellbeing. Our courses are taught by some of the world’s leading practitioners and are suitable for complete beginners as well as practicing therapists and offer a range of qualifications. We believe that learning something new should be inspiring, enjoyable and empowering. Please note some of our courses only run once a year and you may find that the 2016 sessions have now passed. A nourishing day of food wisdoms
Saturday 10th September 2016
From living soil, to vibrant plants to healthy humans - take a journey with award-winning chef and nutritionist Daphne Lambert to discover how food choices affect our health and the health of the environment.
- Prepare seasonal, organically grown & wild foods in the kitchen;
- Share food stories and conversations around the table
- Traditional food wisdoms - soaking, sprouting, fermenting, drying
Practical work in the kitchen preparing vital foods includes making:
- kimchi, kefir, dill pickles, dosa
- sour-dough rye bread
- nut butters
- shrubs, herbal elixirs
- sprouted seed salads
- and lots more ...
The cost for the day includes refreshments, lunch and recipes.
This course is held at the beautiful setting of Greencuisine Byre, located just outside Lewes in East Sussex.
Public Transport: The nearest station is Lewes (regular trains from London Victoria and Clapham Junction), taxis are frequent outside of the station and Greencuisine is 10 minute drive away.
Daphne has cooked, studied, taught & written about food all her adult life. For 30 years, she was the co-owner & chef of a multi award winning restaurant and has run a nutritional consultancy practice for 25 years.
Daphne is the founding member ofan educational charity that engages with individuals, organisations and communities to re-think food. Daphne brings her passion for food that truly nourishes, body, mind & soul, together with diverse experiences in the world of food, to her work as a nutritionist & educator within the Trust.
