I am a Level 5 Diploma qualified Massage Therapist, specialising in Sport and Remedial Massage, relaxing Swedish Massage, Event and Corporate Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage.
I have been interested in sporting activities like running, going to the gym and horse riding pretty much all my life and have been involved in gym work since 1992.
It was also around this time when I was suffering extremely intense migraines that would last up to 2 weeks at a time. When medication was not helping my pain, my doctor at the time prescribed me massages to help the tension in my upper back and neck to try easing the headaches. I also then learnt the importance of good posture and how to better my own. It helped me so much that it made me a true believer in the powerful effects of a well applied massage and how important it is to look after my health.
I got better and enjoyed working hard in business management, until 15 years later I simply didn't enjoy it anymore; that is when I decided to retrain as a Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist.
I haven't looked back since and have been working full time as a fully qualified therapist since 2010, regularly adding to my knowledge with continuous development courses and new qualifications.
I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
