I am a fully qualified Counsellor with an M.A. Honours and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling from The University of Edinburgh.

I am trained in both Person-centred and Psychodynamic Counselling theories and approaches and in addition have undertaken specialist Relationship Counselling training with The University of Edinburgh and Relationships Scotland. I attend professional development training courses on a regular basis and keep up-to-date with the latest research findings in a wide-range of fields which are relevant to enhancing my counselling practice.

I work with individuals and couples on both a short-term and long-term basis at an Edinburgh counselling agency and in private practice.

I am a member of COSCA, Scotland's Professional Body for Counselling & Psychotherapy and The British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and am bound by their Ethical Frameworks for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a member of The Psychologists Protection Society
