I trained in Western Herbal Medicine for four yea rs, to BSc level. This training included the same diagnostic skills as medical studies, clinical practice and a detailed knowledge of medicinal plants. I believe it is important for clients to understand what herbal medicine is, and how it works, before deciding whether to have treatment, so I give an initial 15-minute consultation free of charge.  Clients can then choose whether to have a half-hour or full hour consultation. I am particularly interested in helping people with chronic conditions or those on long-term medication. If you are taking prescribed drugs, I can choose herbs which do not interact with your medication.
