Rachel Boase

Working in the healing profession since 1992, Rachel is committed to natural health.  Having studied shiatsu, macrobiotics, and craniosacral therapy, in 1993 she became a member of the teaching team at the British School of Shiatsu Do in London.  She also treats horses with Equine Craniosacral therapy.

Rachel's practice is based on the principle of healing that the body knows best what to do.  With a positive approach, she aims to support clients in maintaining good health with a holistic lifestyle.

As a hands on therapy, shiatsu works on the principles of oriental medicine and includes palm and thumb pressure, stretching, joint mobilisation and soft tissue work. Following treatment clients often comment on an increased sense of well being, improved vitality, better sleep, flexibility, and relief from pain. Treatment assists the body in relaxing deeply and functioning well.  Appropriate treatment can help relieve many symptoms and practical recommendations are given to clients at each visit.
