Kim Chan

 
 

Kim is a registered acupuncturist, a Chinese patent herbalist, a Shiatsu practitioner and a member of the British Acupuncture Council. She is the Programme Leader for Acupuncture Skills and Techniques at prestigious The College of Chinese Medicine, the largest acupuncture college in Europe offering degree courses validated by Kingston University. She is also a clinical supervisor and lecturer at the college. In addition she mentors and supervises qualified practitioners.


Kim first graduated from the European School of Shiatsu Therapy and Movement in 1990 and went on to join the teaching staff there for 10 years. During this time she furthered her study of Chinese Medicine, undertaking another three and a half years training in acupuncture. Following her graduation in this in 1999 she has worked full time in private practice.


She has many years training in Chi-movement and meditation and incorporates this experience into helping patients regain their full strength and vitality.
Kim is a very respected and popular practitioner with over 20 years experience. She has a reputation for helping with a wide variety of health issues, and has particular expertise in fertility, pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and post-pregnancy support, anxiety and stress and pain management.
