Johanna graduated with merit from the European School of Osteopathy, and is a member of the General Osteopathic Council and the British Osteopathic Association. She is qualified to use myofascial acupuncture techniques (dry needling; western medical acupuncture), an extremely useful adjunct to osteopathic treatment. After gaining a law degree, Johanna worked in a variety of fields, and having experienced pressurised office & sporting environments, understands the demands each can place on the body. While studying, a disc injury served to confirm the benefits of manual therapy and cement the conviction that understanding any given pain or injury is key to managing it. Johanna also acts as a consultant for various back care clinics. Working to make each treatment completely patient centered, Johanna uses a variety of techniques aiming to provide pain relief and maximise function, coupled with advice to help the patient become self-sufficient and minimise future problems.
