Joanna Hooper


Jo is a highly skilled Osteopath qualifying with a first class honours degree in Osteopathic Medicine. She has worked in practices for a number of years in London and Bristol and has now returned to Totnes, the place where she grew up.

Following her degree, Jo qualified as a Cranial Osteopath at postgraduate level at the prestigious Sutherland Cranial Collage. She is also an experienced Paediatric Osteopath having worked at the Bristol Children's Clinic as part of a team dedicated to treating mothers, infants and babies. As a mother herself she has plenty of expertise and is happy to see children of all ages.

Jo also has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and is a certified Personal Trainer and Sports Therapist. This enables her to advise on lifestyle, ergonomics exercise rehabilitation and dietary issues.

She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOSC) and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association (BOA).

Jo treats a wide range of conditions using a structural and cranial approach to treatments.
