I became interested in complementary therapies shortly after the birth of my first child when a friend recommended reflexology. While working in healthcare, I became very intrigued by the power of touch and the positive effect it could have on patients. Having personally experienced the benefits of reflexology, I began to consider studying complementary therapies.

I began my training in 2011, completing the ITEC level 3 diploma in holistic massage in 2012. I was encouraged to attend an advanced and deep tissue massage course soon after qualification. The techniques learned on the course can be very effective in relieving chronic muscle tension and I like to integrate it into my massage work where necessary. I have also completed training in Hot and Cold Stone massage, Indian Head Massage and Pregnancy Massage.

In 2013 I completed the ITEC level 3 diploma in Reflexology and can now also offer these treatments at Neal's Yard Therapy Rooms.
